Branch Profile
  The Branch Office is in the Second Floor of the Auditors Association Building at D. B. Road, R. S. Puram, Coimbatore - 2. The total area owned by the Branch is 2013.50 Sq. Ft. One floor of the Auditors Association of Southern India has been acquired for Lease which is approximately 3500 Sq. Ft. The Branch organizes regular Seminars, Conferences, Meetings & Workshops for the benefit of Members and Students. The Branch has been accredited by the ICAI to conduct Oral Coaching Classes for CPT, IPCC and Final. Information Technology Training (ITT) Centre has also been started functioning for the 100 hours IT Training for Students since 2007. Campus Interviews for the Newly qualified Chartered Accountants, General Management and Communication skills course for the newly qualified Chartered Accountants, ISA Practical Classes for Members are also the major activities of the Branch. Central Council Members of ICAI, Members of the Regional Council, Government Officials, Officials from IT Department, Central Excise, Registrar of Companies have visited the Branch. The Branch has received all India Best Branch Award during the year 1997. Many members from Coimbatore have brought laurels to the Branch. The Branch received ‘Highly Commendable Performance Award’ at National Level for the year 2008-09 from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi. Branch Website designed at AES Technologies, Coimbatore and launched on 2 March 2008, by CA. G. Ramaswamy, Central Council Member in the presence of CA. K. Shanmukhasundaram Regional Council Member during the Chairmanship of CA. S.A. Gopalakrishnan. It was redesigned with more attractive options such as ‘Members Search, Downloads, Online updation of Member’s Details etc.,’ during the Chairmanship of CA. S.I.Vijayasundhar.  |
